Contemporary Visions: South Asia

Celebrating living artists from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka — sixty works that redefine what contemporary South Asian art looks like on the world stage.

This ambitious group exhibition gathers forty-two artists, many showing together for the first time, to ask: what does it mean to make art in South Asia today? The answers are as varied as the region itself — abstract canvases, photographic essays, video installations, textile works and monumental sculptures sit side by side in a deliberately non-hierarchical hang.

The exhibition is accompanied by a programme of artist talks, film screenings and workshops designed to deepen engagement with the works on view.
