Mymensingh Ink

About the Artist

Mymensingh Ink blends traditional Bengali folk art motifs with contemporary mixed media techniques. Sharmin Nahar draws from the Jamdani weaving patterns of her hometown and the ancient terracotta art of the Brahmaputra region. Her works have been shortlisted for the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Young Artist Award and are held in private collections in Dhaka, London, and New York.
